Shacha sauce, renowned for its origins in Guangdong and Fujian provinces, draws inspiration from Malaysian Satay. The credit for introducing Satay to China is attributed to Chen You Xiang, who dedicated over a decade to honing his skills in Malaysia. Upon returning to China, he skillfully blended Chinese herbs and spices into the sauce, elevating its savoury appeal.While Shacha sauce enhances numerous dishes, it's particularly celebrated in Fujian as a key component of the iconic Shacha noodle soup—a beloved street food delicacy. In Fujian, each restaurant imparts its unique twist to Shacha sauce, and we are no exception. Our chefs have embraced the Xiamen style Shacha, which boasts the rich flavours of peanuts, coconut, and seafood, harmoniously paired with yellow noodles. It's the perfect dish to comfort and warm your day.
